Finding Roseworth Cottage In The Bay
As you descend the ‘hill’ into the Bay you’ll pass the Fish Box restaurant on the left and a small private car park. Continue down the hill until you reach the craft shop at the end of the street named ‘Bloomswell’ pictured here. Take the left turn after Bloomswell, and follow the passage-way. As you walk a few yards you’ll see Roseworth ahead of you so follow the passage, up a few steps and to the right leading you to the front-door on the ground-floor conveniently located right in the heart of the atmospheric ‘Old Bay’ on the Square.

Places to Eat and Drink in the Bay
There are numerous options for food and drinks in the Bay. Over the years we’ve experienced all of the pubs, cafes and restaurants many times. With our 3 children and the dog, it’s fair to say we’re quite experienced in navigating the options in the Bay so we’ve provided our simple guide for Roseworth guests in the linked page here.
What Will You Find In The Bay
The Beaches and the Coastline
The beach and coastline at the Bay are both stunningly beautiful and interesting in equal measure. Summer sand castles, snorkelling and rockpooling gives way to fossil hunting, fishing and hiking in the colder months. Fishing from the sea-wall can offer a year-round interest for young and old alike. Whether you’re looking to build sand-castles or explore the rocky scars for hermit-crabs, urchins and small fishes, Robin Hoods Bay is a varied and versatile shoreline perfect for family holidays.
Experience Robin Hood’s Bay
The timeless magic of Robin Hood’s Bay is best experienced in person. No matter what we say, or not matter how many pictures we share it’s hard to convey the timeless, calming and relaxing essence of the Bay village. However this wonderful video tour gives you a great start in exploring the bay before you get here. We’ve been visiting the bay for over 20 years and we ‘still’ find new corners to explore.
Car Parking At Robin Hoods Bay
There are 2 main car parks closest to the Bay. The closest is called Bank Top Car Park, and the other is called the Station Car Park. You can pay at the machines on site, or you can pay online via the RingGo Parking service. This is more convenient if you’re staying in the Bay, as you can pay/extend/check your parking ticket from your mobile phone.
The RingGo car parking location codes you’ll need are 4640 for Bank Top car park, and 4641 for Staton car park.
