Roseworth Cottage is a lovingly restored holiday cottage dating back to the 17th Centruy. Located in the timeless 'Old Bay' at the heart of the picturesque Robin Hoods Bay village it provides a perfect hideaway for those seeking peace and solitude, but also offers a great venue for a bustling family beach holiday. Our commitment is to provide a home from home in Robin Hoods Bay, surrounded by timeless atmosphere, sea air and breathtaking views.

Roseworth is a truly delightful 4-storey stone cottage that is now available as a lovely and well-laid out holiday home with open village and sea views. Roseworth is light and spacious and offers very comfortable and cosy accommodation for up to 6 people.
Offering 3 bedrooms we are quite flexible in terms in accommodating your needs. Master bedroom is a double bed, and we have another large bedroom which can be configured for double or twin. The smallest 'bunk' room is only suitable for children with 2 beds.

The Square in the Old Bay

Roseworth is situated in 'The Square' in the Old Bay close to some of the oldest and most picturesque properties and thoroughfares. With external access on two levels and the famous 'Darnill Steps' adjacent we're only minutes from the pub and local convenience store.
The Heart of Roseworth
Ground Floor Dining Kitchen
The dining kichen is spacious, fully equipped family kitchen and has the largest log burner in the house. In the warmer months, the large sash window and external door make this a cool and airy location to get out of the sun. In the colder months this is the cosiest room in the house, courtesy of the log-burner.

Upper Ground Floor Lounge
Unwind by the fireplace at Roseworth Cottage, where warmth meets charm. The crackling fire adds a touch of coziness to your evenings, creating a calming ambiance with views over the village and moorland behind.
Twin or Double Bedroom
First Floor Twin/Double Bedroom
This room is a spacious bedroom with a large sash window with views over the village and North Yorkshire moors. Capable of offering a double or twin bedding option, this room also has a TV and video game to keep children occupied on those rainy days.
Recently renovated
First Floor Family Bathroom
Recently refurbished the family bathroom on the 1st floor is conveniently positioned with easy access from all rooms. Original, refurbished fittings are now complemented by a clean, contemporary restyle with underfloor heating to warm those toes.
Sanctuary in the Rafters
Second Floor Master Bedroom
The sanctuary on the top floor the master bedroom is a spacious room with large sash window overlooking the bay and the beach. Relax here with a book, listening to the seagulls and sink into the comfortable bed listening to sea at night.
All Aboard For Bedtime
Second Floor Childrens Bunk Room
Next door to the master bedroom on the top floor we have the compact but cosy childrens bedroom with 2 bunkbeds (suitable for ages up to 10 yrs). For younger children we have a fitted safety gate which can be placed at the door for additional peace of mind.

Things to do on the Beach
The coastline at Robin Hoods Bay is varied and accommodates a range of activities. The rockpools are teaming with marine life. Walking to Ravenscar is possible to visit the seal colony with the right preparation and awareness of tides. There are fossils and jet in the rocky scars, and towards Boggle Hole you get sandy beaches and swimming in the sea.
